SOLO Remotely Controlled Air Blast Sprayer
This is the Remote Controlled SOLO Air Blast Sprayer spraying an orchard of young apple trees at the Fruit Focus 2013 show. (24 July 13, Kent, UK) Uniquely, the operator can stand in a position of safety, up-wind and well away from any risk of contact with the herbicides or chemicals being sprayed.
The SOLO vehicle is narrow. At just 825mm wide, this four-wheel drive all-terrain machine can operate in confined spaces - e.g. spraying in a commercial orchard, between the rows of commercially grown fruit trees, or spraying strawberries grown on raised beds in poly tunnels and greenhouses.
Most makes and types of sprayer can be integrated into the the SOLO machine - Air Blast or Boom-type sprayers, to spray fruit, vineyards, orchards - inside (confined spaces) or outside (Orchards & Vineyards)
SOLO Bank Rotary Mower New SOLO Bank Flail Mower to be launched soon. See pictures here SOLO Bank Rotary Mower - effortlessly cuts grassland in areas too hazardous or dangerous for operator-driven mowers, where there is a risk of tipping over Easy to operate and remotely controlled from up to 100m, the SOLO Bank RotaryMower reduces dangers faced by operators when mowing next to busy roads & motorways, at airports, reservoirs & power stations and on banks, slopes and inclines anywhere.
Use SOLO Bank Rotary Mower in place of a conventional operator driven bank mower where should it tip over the operator might be injured. Using a SOLO Bank Mower, the operator stands in a safe place up to 100m away. For the operator and employer, this means reduced fatigue, no hand-arm-vibration issues - and no risk of injury should the machine tip over.
With its twin rotary blades, mulching deck and 1 metre cut, SOLO uses permanent four wheel drive and skid steer turning to access difficult to reach areas and cut / mulch long grass and weeds. SOLO's Floating Rotary Cutting Deck technology maintains the optimal cutting height across rough terrain on banks and slopes.
